I'm looking for thoughtful, intelligent answers, here, guys. Please don't just tell me the amount of times a day.
I'd like to know what you focus on, and why. If you're in relationships, I'd like to know if the way you think about sex changes, etc.
Please try to think about the psychology of sex, and how it affects you.
Just as an aside, when I'm in class, or just out and about, I tend to see guys that are pretty focussed. They don't appear to be thinking sexual thoughts ... same with girls. So, I'd like to know what it takes to get your minds going. (Not, I might add, as an instruction manual. This is a serious question).

I also wonder if our profs think about sex as they teach. Ie., if they find their students attractive.

How often? A lot...
The trigger? Well, a little from Column A (randomly) and a little for Column B (hot woman).
My current circumstance is I am VERY single (and a single parent to boot), so part of my 'thinking about sex' is missing what I don't have at this moment. I'm also sure I have the whole 'Lust Light' thing happening in my eyes too - not looking for Ms Right, just Ms Right-Now!!! - which makes me wonder exactly how many women on the street I've been leering at. In all honesty, I don't believe I think about sex excessively, it's just something I like and am not getting right now...
It should also be noted that it's not all "hump it if it moves" thoughts either. There are many degrees of physical contact that make the 'I thought about sex' category...

Hi Lila, Lately i have been thinking about sex from the time i get up,and time i go to be. I don't need a trigger,all i need to do is think about my old man and he's on my mind 24-7 and i can't help
myself. Let me tell you alittle story: 34 years ago i let my soulmate walk out of my life and i have mean't him on the internet 10 months ago. We still love each other and want to be together,and we still have that special link. He knows what i am going to say and i know what he is going to say.When he is in trouble i can feel his pain and the same with him.I have 2 problems 1: he lives 3000 miles away,but we email each other everyday and call on sunday and talk for an hour or 2.. 2: my dads health is bad and i live in to take care of him.He's going to fly out to california next year so we can be together at least for 2 weeks.Then he has to go back,he also has a brother who is very ill. Now can you understand why we both have sex on our minds 24-7. It really get's hard alot of times. We both look at it as it's worth waiting for. We are true soulemates and he thinks the same.

I would say once or twice some days but not every day. It also depends on what stage in life you are in and other factors as well.
Age - sexual peak?
Relationship - happy and very attracted to someone?
Friends - do they talk about sex a lot?
It totally depends on many things. You know they also say that the more you get it the more you want it. Personally, I think it is WAY better if you haven't had it in a while. BUT, that's a whole other subject! Good luck in your search for answers! :-)

I am a 46 year old male. Too may times to count. probably 100's. Seeing a hot woman will ENSURE I think about it in the slim chance that was not already happening. Maybe I will post a question -- is this normal?

i think about sex all the time! but only in like the back of my head. if i get focused on something else - playing rugby, teaching, whatever, it goes away. but then, ive been single a long time. seeing an attractive girl certainly makes it flare. and honestly, there are girls that i initially approach because they are hot, then drop after just a few moments because they are stupid or boring or egocentric, or just ignorant. would i kick them out of bed? hell no. but i wont waste any time on them either.

I think about it 15-20 times a day...don't always need a visual trigger. I'm a 49-year-old male.

Guys only think of sex once...and never stop. Seriously. Guys can look at a blank wall and get a sexual thought out of it.
