The oldest known civilization was in Mesopotamia, which is in modern day Iraq.

But I would rank the most successful civilization to be China, followed by India and Japan. Fourth I would say Persia.

Mongols, Mughals, Chinese and Khmer. For the westerners, some of the Chinese written history dates back to 1600 BC. Buddha preceded Christ by 500 years. The first upright man was found in Africa.

I am not Asian. The current greastest civilizations? and I assume Russia is not counted. I am going to go with Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Indian.
