It is easy! 'Real Goods' catalog from Gaiam offered a home unit in their Spring 2006 Resource Guide. Here is the link to them. I am currently experimenting with extracting ethanol from waste cellulose biomass. With solar heat & waste mulch I hope to make it affordable, and the by-product is a ready to go soil amendment. We were only composting it before with lots of energy and months to reduce it. But to Biodiesel, here you go and Good Luck!

Just a note for Brian L. Please remember it is highly illegal to distil ethanol to purify it. This is classic moonshine. I have no problem but government agencies would have !
