No protein pills are not the same thing as steroids. You will find them at a health food store.

The most important function of protein is to build up, keep up, and replace the tissues in your body. Your muscles, your organs, and some of your hormones are made up mostly of protein.

Protein also makes antibodies and hemoglobin (responsible for delivering oxygen to your blood cells).

What is Protein Made of?

Proteins are made up of sequences of amino acids. There are 20 different amino acids. Our body is able to produce 14 of the 20 amino acids. We have to get the remaining amino acids from the foods we eat.

The amino acids that our body is able to produce are called Non-Essential Amino Acids. The amino acids that our body is unable to produce are called Essential Amino Acids.

Foods high in Protein?

Eggs, milk, meat, apricots, avocados, bananas, cherries, dates, figs, nuts, beans, and grapes.

High Protein Diet?

High-protein diets produce rapid weight loss by stimulating the loss of fluids from the body.

High protein diets can be dangerous if not done properly. Some researchers believe that high protein diets do more harm than good. In some cases, excess protein can increase the risk of ill health. For instance, it can worsen the symptoms of liver and kidney disease.

Do not go on a high protein diet without talking to your doctor first.

Not nesessarily, but it surely is helping. You might additionally obtain muscle through lifting on a prime-carb nutrition. But if you do not raise and simply have a prime-protein nutrition, to many protein energy will probably be saved as fats, identical to carbohydrate and fats energy. Most of the ones bars and shakes are beautiful high priced, and now not very nesessary. You'll get greater satisfactory protein through comfortably consuming extra meat, fish, eggs, nuts, beans, milk and soy merchandise. Cottage cheese has plenty extra protein and no more fats (with 0 carbs I could upload) than all of the ones "prime protein" merchandise. Cottage cheese or yogurt+nuts +fruit =healthful, prime protein breakfast or snack. Protein from truly meals is the fine you'll be able to get.

Protein is a natural occuring mineral in your body no it does not show up as "steroids" in the body. I do know for a fact that it does come in a powdered form to make like milk shakes with. My 2 sons play football and there coach recommended the protein shake for them. I do also recommend not just to drink it for weight gain you have to also work out to build muscle mass not fat. I am unaware of protein pills. You may talk to your local health food store. In the states we have what is called GNC (general nutrition center). I hope this helps you out.
