A good friend of mine presented me with an idea that intrigued me. She said she has talked to some little kids who seem wise beyond their years and thought "you've been here before." I kind of believe in reincarnation, and I kinda like the idea but I haven't made up my mind yet. I was wondering if anybody else has ever had the same experience with a kid before. Have you ever met a kid who seemed to know more than a kid their age should and thought maybe this isn't the first time they've been here?

I experienced deja vu frequently when I was a child, as many children do. There has been some really interesting accounts of children knowing more than they could possibly know about a person who had lived. I am a firm believer in reincarnation. Have you ever known a person who was a little immature their whole life? That is a young soul, in my opinion. Now, the question that I have is if new souls are being born, as I believe that they are, how are these souls created? Is it a God?

Reincarnation is the only a spirit progresses. Think about it....Why are children smarter now then when man first inhabited the planet? Man was not very bright then, now they come with so much intelligence, kids catch on so much faster, why? God is not perfecting his children as time goes on is he? Then God wouldn't be perfect and he is! When the spirit is send out from the Father Creator it's like a diamond in the rough. Each time your spirit incarnates to fulfill a mission, to demonstrate life, depending on how much love one demonstrates for his fellow brother does your spirit light(diamond) shine. Each life time our spirit progress we retain some of that knowledge. That is why there is many that know how to play musical instruments so young, or have so much compassion and love for others. Or feel they visited places before or know someone they have never met before. I can go on but I hope you get the idea. Peace and love be with you.

Can't say I've had that experience from your side of the fence, but as a younger woman than I am now, I was told enough times that I was an 'old soul' and wise beyond my years by various believers in reincarnation. The jury's still out, in my opinion.

It is a weird question. I always feel as if I lived in the era of Beattles. When I listen to their songs, I have this familjar feeling. I start to think, and imagine as if I'm a living the 60's. It is a weird feeling. One of the most intriguing examples that I have of recarnation is from the book written by Dalai Lama, The universe in a single atom. He explains an example where a girl born to a family always felt that she had lived before and she remembered what had happened to the girl from supposebley she recarnated from. Her parents found two parents of the dead girl and brough them to this girl. She identified them immediatly and she knew how and why their daughter passed away.

I actually believe in reincarnation to an extent. I don't believe we come back as animals or something. I believe we keep coming back until we learn all of our life lessons. I also we come back as the type of person that u hate the most so u can learn the life lesson that is associated with it. I think this would be my last trip, because I can't think of any type of person I hate.

The existence of your life is based on your good and bad deeds in your past life. According to Hindu sacred religion, our life cannot be ended and we take birth after birth till we merge with the source where we came from, called Supreme power. This state of complete oneness can be achieved by a simple and wonderful meditation.

Thanks

Some children are simply smarter than others. They are not being aided by some other force. Give them some credit.....

Besides, reincarnation doesn't work like that.

No. Do these kids come from religious families?

These children she is talking about are the indigo children, they like you and me are the angels we have been praying for . Accept your Divinity. Know that you have been here many times before and you are here to do some very specific things in your life to heal your wounding and to assist the Earth in it's journey to heal.
