would you do the same thing?
or are you so afraid of being wrong that you would not ask this Jesus (that you do not believe exist) into your life and to make himself known to you?

No I would discontinue believing a religion if it was revealed all a lie. I do not believe a religion that is not in line with monotheism.
I do not believe in a holy book of a religion that contains many false verses.I do not believe in a holy book that has so many contradictions and doubts.
I do not believe a religion that can not give me a convincingly basis for a clear, logic and complete life guidance for my safety living in this world and safety living after daeth.
I do not believe in a religion that gives other power to the only one God and pray to a statue or idol

Why would you still continue if you think it has all been a lie? In the world where all religions say theirs is the true one, whom do you have to believe? Would it not be better if you just pick up what are really right to do in life than be confident about your religion? It was Jesus himself who said, "That not all who call on Jesus, Jesus will be saved".. which means he must prove himself to be a right person to be saved and not just by being a member of the religion.

Religion is something very personal, what people think is up to the individual itself, normally science can not influence it. True or false is science, science say the age of the earth already billions of years, hence our perception about time can be anything, some believe, some do not believe. Religion already existed many dongky years, why up to today, no one confirming there is lies in it, and the whole world accept it? So what is the point asking?

As you cannot prove that my religion is a lie then of course I would still believe. Who or what are you going to get to declare that religion is a lie? It is impossible. If you believe that God kills kittens then you are a sad person indeed.

Oh please, kills a kitten! Get real! I am supposed to believe that a God would kill a kitten because I say there may not be a God? I say that there may be a God, I just don't know. One thing I do believe with all my heart and soul is that the bible is pure fiction. Any religion that claims to be the only way to God is a lie.

God has ALREADY TOLD us what the one truth faith is! Religion as we know it was created by MAN as a means of justifying his own actions by the WORKS OF HIS OWN HANDS. Don't believe me? The first act of religion was in the Garden of Eden! When Adam and Eve sinned, the Bible says they made garments for themselves of fig leaves for themselves to hide their nakedness because they were ashamed of it. God asked them about how they knew they were naked and the rest is history, but he did graciously teach them that only blood would cleanse sin. This is why he made them the goatskin clothing instead of letting them continue in their fig leaves. It was symbolic of the fact that had he allowed them to continue on in their fig leaves, ANY old way of attaining salvation would've been justified, thereby eliminating God from the equation and forever giving Satan authority over God's creation. God later laid out a plan of salvation through His sacrifice (blood) and our symbolic followup(repentance, water baptism [cleansing from sin], and etc.).

Revealed by WHOM to be a lie, dear?
--
Now that you have added details...God did come down from the heavens and announced the Truth. Are you proposing that God will return and say, "Just kidding"?
I suggest that you inspect what you want to say before you just blurt it out. Offenses against God (i.e., blasphemy) can oftentimes be made in carelessness, yet they are offenses nonetheless.

If God cured all the disease on the planet I would faithfully worship him. I will remain atheist until then. I would love to believe in a caring personal god but I won't get bamboozled either.

well, in order for me to believe in a deity i'd pretty much have to meet said Super Being in Person and there's have to be something extraordinary about Him/Her/It ... like maybe have blue skin and 6 arms. some dude turning water into wine wouldn't be enough. David Blane can do tricks like that.
