Please tell me what should I do?

I am 35 years old, never been married, and have no children. I have dated my share of losers in the past and now I am looking for happiness and I am also looking for someone to spend mt life with. There is a man that I have thought about over the years, he was the one that gave me my first kiss, the only thing is he is in jail and has benn in jail for 13 years, please don't think he is a bad man because he is not; young and old like him. One night he gave a couple of guys a ride from the club the cops stopped him and the guys threw drugs in his car, the guys lied and said it was for him and he has been in jail every since. His dad church even tried to help him and they did they paid for some of his lawyers fee. His sister said you always did like our brother and I told her yes I loved him all of my life. I don't know what to do

Please do not get in contact with this man before you gain access to more information, such as what he was actually convicted of (13 years and counting seems an amazingly long sentence for drug possession). Also, if there is a trial transcript, read that - you may get your eyes opened.

Even if your friend is innocent, after 13 years in prison he will not be the man you once knew. Do not let your desire for marriage and children cloud your better judgment. Happily married people are the happiest of all people, but those who are unhappily married are much more miserable than single people.

First kiss... we all will never forget our first kiss and also hold special feelings for that person. But it's been a long time since then. He (and you) have changed as people. You've both grown. So, in my opinion, I wouldn't wait for him and simply hope he's the one. Look into the future and not into the past. Even though you've met your share of losers, there's so many guys that you haven't met. And what are the odds that ALL of them are losers? My advice is to leave your memories for this guy the way they are, and look for someone new.

He is in JAIL! Why go down a road like that? Dont you want to start a life with someone? Marriage?Kids? Cant do that while in jail...dont u deserve better?? You can still love him...but live yourself A LOT more!
Why not try a dating website or something...get out there and live alittle! Try a match or chemistry site- let yourself find someone to start a decent life with.

Does he know you're in love with him? If he does I would wait for him if he truly makes you feel like your the only beautiful thing that ever walked the earth, I bet you would make him very happy when he gets out of jail

Write the immate and format a friendship. 13 years in the jail seems like a LONG time for no priors and simple drug possesion.

thats a hard one, well i think first you need to work out if you do truly love him and want to spend the rest of your life with him. if so then you have to work how you can do that, how long is he in jail for? if you want to have children then now is the time. this is so hard! i'm sorry your in this situation

Hi Kimberly, Are you sure he has feeling for you?? My not visit him on visit days at the prison. That's one way to find out. If he does have feeling and would like to try to be a couple when he get's out. I think the wait would be worth it.. Specially if he didn't do anything,he was set-up..

First of all if you ask anyone in jail they will swear they are innocent.Secondly, it's a fact that you are attracted to trouble,so go find someone that your not totally in to and start from there

i think that you should visit him in jail and tell him how you feel just incase he comes out and he doesnt feel the same way. That will give him tyime to sort out or develop feelings for you...
