This could be urinary incontinence. It has many causes, and so the cure depends on the cause. If it happens frequently, go see your doctor.

It is called enuresis. It can be caused by physical cause or psychological.
I copy and paste one website from Stanford website of enuresis (at the website you can find all articles regarding enuresis):
What is Sleep Enuresis?
It is the inability to maintain urinary control during sleep. Primary enuresis refers to inability to maintain urinary control from infancy. Secondary enuresis is a relapse after control has been achieved.
What causes it?
Medical disorders like diabetes, urinary tract infection, sleep apnea or epilepsy can cause it. Psychiactric disorders can also be a cause.
How often does sleep enuresis occur?
To be considered sleep enuresis, there has to be at least two episodes per month in children 3 to 6 years and at least one episode per month for older individuals. Sleepwalking can also occur during an episode.
How is sleep enuresis treated?
A full physical should be done to rule out medical conditions. There are various techniques used when medical conditions have been ruled out. The most common are: behavior modification, alarm devices, and medications.

It is possible that you may be developing incontinence, but that depends on what is going on with your body. Was it a one time thing? If so, maybe you just had an unusual dream about a toilet....hey I am sure it happens to the best of us sometimes.
If it happens a lot see your doctor.

I've heard it isn't totally uncommon. I don't think it's a disease so much as a psycological thing. Talk to your doctor about it; he/she may reccomend a therapist.
