I have a short hair style (straight, barely shoulder length) and I would like to keep it this length for the wedding if possible but still want to do it up somehow. Can anyone give me some ideas or tell me of some sites where I can see some up-dos please?

Take a look at www.weddingchannel.com and click on their beauty page. They have so many different pictures of hair styles. There are also a lot of magazines out that are geared specifically towards shorter hair styles.

Your best bet is to go to a professional salon and have them do a hair trial on you to determine what your best look should be for your wedding day. You will need to know details about your dress - or better yet, bring a picture.

You can try brides or the knot. Both have hair galleries that show differedt styles for your lenght of hair. An alternative, is for you to use google and search for it in images. you get some great pictures and you can choose which one you like.

Good luck and happy hunting!

if your dress is straps hair need to be up if not strapless hair can be worn in spirals or a good hairstyle but more an likely the hair up is more modern due to the activities and sweating going on before the honeymoon

Yes, wear it up. April can rain a lot, and a down-style will not make it through the day if it rains.

weddingchannel.com has some pictures of up-dos.

put it in 3 elastics on top of your head. Then curl it in ringlets by little pieces. Then put it all in place with bobby-pins. and spray it. Sounds weird, but works great and is so cute/pretty. I promise. Works great with short hair. Good luck and Congrats!
