My Husband and I have just had our first child and are now looking for a good place to relocate. So, I'm wondering where would be a good place to raise, educate, and entertain my growing family that is also very safe. Basically what I believe every mother looks for when they start their family, I know some of you have found it!! Looking for your advice, Andrea.

What ever you do, don't move to a small town. Sure small towns are friendly, many of them are Christian and they are safe. However, their school system sucks! Funding is such a problem for small towns as well as finding quality teachers. I've worked in numerous school districts in four different states and have found that small towns don't have the proper fundamentals when it comes to education. What's odd, is that no one in a small town has a clue that it sucks. I've lived in the San Francisco Bay Area and in Los Angeles in California. I've also lived in Las Vegas, NV, Troy, Michigan and Knoxville, TN. Out of all of these places, Northern California had the best school districts. I wouldn't move there though because the cost of living is ridiculously high.

My husband and I are just starting a family and have decided to move to Florida. Seminole County outside of Orlando has one of the best school districts and the cost of living is affordable.

Good luck with your move. Education should be at the top of your list. :)

Omaha, Nebraska was voted one of the top best places to raise a family. Of course it was from a different web site than I'm sharing with you. Try this website and see what you think:

San Ramon, Ca. It's expensive to live here but very family oriented. We have a ton of parks and family events.
