i watched the end of a show on A&E called 'hell' & a clip about the church of satan was in it. One thing about this 'religion' is that they try to base all of their teachings 100 percent opposite of christianity. Example: 'do unto others as you'd have done to you'- christianity. so 'do unto others as they DO unto you- satanism. how would this religion even be in existence without God making the Christian Bible, how? :o}

I love your question. More than half of the satanic actions in the world, happen because of religions!

... So... you're saying Christianity created Satanism. Thus Christianity can be blamed for any bad things done by Satanists, so if one random Satanist, and I know nothing about the religion but am thinking more along the lines of the conotations that the word or name "Satan" has, goes and murders a bunch of children, the blame can be placed squarely on Christianity because without christianity Satanism would never have existed and that tragedy would never have happened?

That is VERY simplified, but they wouldn't be. The church of satan was created as a response to hypocrisy in the Christian church. So, if Christians had acted more Christ-like and not been so hypocritical, perhaps the church of satan wouldn't exist. Maybe?

The story of Satan goes back to an Old Testament story about an angel who rebelled in heaven. The Old Testament is the Hebrew scriptures. Christians didn't invent Satan.

Satan and fear has kept the Christian church in business all these years.

I don't know if you know what the modern Satanism is but Christianity gives it something to go against since it looks down on herd conformity and self deceit. There are many other rules of Satanism if applied to everyday life they could work wonders...

Uhm... God didn't make the Bible. There is no "Gospel of Yeshua" or "Gospel of Jehovah". The Bible is a documentation about early Christianity; or to be more accurate, the time before Christianity. Jesus was a Jew. Christianity became a religion after his death, the Bible was written before there was Christianity.
It was not written by God.

It wouldn't be a religion without the christian bible, of course. It would be a philosophy, though. Satanists worship the self, as opposed to outside deities. In fact, most capitalists follow those same precepts...and ironically do so while calling themselves christian. Oh, I love irony. :)

These are men, honey..... and men will do what men like to do....
There were evil men long before Christianity came into effect.... Scripture tells us all about them..... Just remember that the Christian Church was not founded until the New Testament....

In the Old Testament, the world was riddled with the likes of them....

There would not be Satanism if it was not for Christianity. They made up satan.
There would be belivers in the king of the underworld for that has been around for far longer that christianity.
