Well, not all non-believers are angry. I'm an agnostic and a very calm and peaceful man. But for the non-believers who do seem angry at the alternative, I imagine that they are frustrated because the majority of the world (84% according to my sociology text) seems to follow a set of beliefs that makes no sense to them. In most any situation, it doesn't feel good to know the majority of people don't think like you. I think frustrated non-believers may also think that theists "cheat", if you will, in philosophical debates by being able to use simple faith as justification while they go through the more strenuous tests of logic, reason and empiricism. I'm not angry about that, but even I can recognize that it is kind of unfair.

Because we have people telling us we are inferior and that we will suffer because we don't believe.

Because we have people trying to take away our rights because we don't believe.

Because there are people trying to use their religions to influence what is taught to our children in schools, what we can or cannot do to our bodies, and who we can or cannot marry.
