I am going through the same thing. Except my guy friend and I talk online outside of school and we once promised each other that we would always be our true selves online and answer any and all questions truthfully. So i asked him and he says that he is attracted to me and he wants to "get in my pants" but he doesn't;t want to date me cause he doesn't want to date me cause he doesn't want to ruin a good friendship. So we have decided to upgrade to friends with benefits and we may date one day when we both have matured. maybe he feels the same way about you.
