My hair is curly and dry but not very long, just about 3 inches or so. Whenever i run my hair through my head, a 3-4 hairs fall out along with some dandruff. It is also a little greesy. I currently use garnier frutis shampoo and pantine pro-v conditioner. I dont use anything else in my hair and shower it every other day. What should i do?

first.. wen u get dandruff with a particular shampoo .. that means
what ur usin does not suit ur hair.. for dandruff id recommend
head&shoulders.. cuz i know myself it works..
second.. flakey hair is from ur hair bein too dry..
there for u need sum leave in conditioners in ur hair.. that wont
make ur hair greasy either..
and Pantine is not gud on the hair.. so many hairdressers tell
me that its bad cuz it makes ur hair soft only for a while.
but the build up of the chemicals they use in their shampoos&
conditioners makes ur hair dull and dry.

My husband has very thick, short hair and has a tough time with dry scalp.
He has been using Suave for men 2 in 1 dandruff shampoo. works like a charm and I love to run my fingers thru it now!
Wal Mart sells it.

Its normal to shed hair especially when its curly and long. You shouldnt be using store shampoo because first off most of the store shampoos contain alcohol...ESPECIALLY PANTINE. Alcohol is horrible for your hair and scalp. Go to a salon and buy some Paul Mitchell tea tree shampoo and conditioner. Weve recommended it to many of our clients and it also works on acne. Its a great product. Try putting a little frizz serum like Paul mitchells super skinny..Biosilk also contains a high level of alcohol which makes dry hair worse.

Selsun blue
or Nioxin hair car kit sold at salons in th emall or beauty supply chain stores or the local beauty salon inside your neighborhood walmart supercenter
wash your hair in cold water and use the medicated shampoo line of head and shoulder or selsun blue
and use the all male line of Loreal products for men

first you used coconut oil in your hair regularly atleast 1 month and washed it in morning with garnier fruits shampoo or head and shoulders . my hair is also dry and have a dandruff when i was not used cocunut oil and head and shoulders, and dandruff in winter season is in everybody hair.good luck!

first you should get some dandruff shampoo. next you should try washing your hair in water that's not quite as hot as before (because hot water makes your scalp dry and flaky), or spend less time in the hot water.

use an astringent to your scalp such as witch hazel, it really works! use it daily
