Eternal servatude to a petty, cruel, egotistical but all-powerful God, or eternal pain and suffering?

I'm sorry that that is the way you see it. The heaven I have been taught about is a place of sweet reunion with loved ones, a place of indescribable joy and rest after the difficulty of this life, and a place where peace and harmony make that existence effortless.

I believe the alternative is not physical pain and suffering, but the emotional pain of the loss of the privilege of living in the first place I described.

Well if he is petty, cruel, and egotistical couldn't he inflict pain and suffering for all eternity. So couldn't they be one in the same. I would rather serve the loving Havenly father that I have heard about.

I would actually prefer an extension to the life I'm currently living.

Really - what's so great about a perfect place where there are no problems? It's the trials of life that make life worth living. Heaven would be like a monotonous plot with no climaxes.

I would like to choose and to be in heaven because it is pleasant place for us to live eternally. But God will allowed me to go to that place if :
1)I choose the right and straight path that is blessed by Allah the only one God i.e Islam religion with holy qur'an and hadith as life guidance.and Muhammadpbuh as the last prophet.
2)obey all Allah's instructions for doing something good and Allah's prohibitions for not doing something bad.
3)ask for forgiveness to Allah for all sins to Allah and ask for forgiveness to the related person if I did a mistake to him/her
4)obey Allah not making any ally for Allah that is unforgiven sin
such as avoiding believe in idols, statues or believe in son of Allah

I think we are pretty much living the first option and the second is not a option I care for either so I will chose heaven as well.

Fortunately, I don't have to choose either. MY God is a just, merciful, and loving God who has made special provision for me.

I consider my religion like a marriage....

I would not marry anyone who did not have a plan in life... To just move off to some place and have us living a crazy life.....

But, one with a plan... that has designed a place... has that place waiting for me....Yep!... that's the one for me!!!.... I don't have to worry about food.. water... or the local inhabitants..... yep! That's the one for me!!!

New Heaven.. New Earth.... Where else?!

Your sister,
Ginger

Neither! Most of us will cross over, it has nothing to do with God. Sin, hell, and satan are man made terms.
