Jesus said Love one another, but He did not say Like one another.
Is loving same as liking?

Loving and liking are two completely seperate things, although you may assume they would automatically be connected, that is not always the case. Say for instance, you get mad at someone in your family, your sister maybe.....you aren't going to like them at that time, maybe it is a bad enough situation that you will never like them again, but.....more often then not, you still love that her. If someone hurt her, you would take up for her...thats what you do for people you love, even if you don't like them. Love does not equal like.

Like is easier to do because to like someone you don't even have to really know them. You can only love someone when you truly know them inside and out. Therefore love is not the same thing as liking someone.

No...I think they are different. I like to use the example of family versus friends to explain my thoughts on this topic. You can choose your friends, but you can't choose your family. Most likely, your friends will be people that you like. But your family, well that's another story. You will probably love them, but you won't necessarily like them. Does this Help?

No it's not the same.To like someone is saying i can respect them.To love someone is saying i care for them,will do anything for them.

as for adult age love is the same a like. as for child noeadays it also the same...love hv lots of meaning ..lik is like i like u as a frren...
