I hope guys want kids less because I will have a better chance finding a guy who wants to be childless like me

There are some strange guys that think having children is a sign of their virility and of their dominance over women. Like I said, strange.
There are some guys that think family (and that means kids) is great.
There are some guys that don't understand the connection between sex and kids; oops, she pregnant agin - how'd she do dat?
Some women want kids more than some men.
There are guys who don't want kids. They're out there. You just have to mean it when you say it; chances are, if you're young, that you'll start wanting kids when you get older. So, like I said, you better mean it when you say it.
You don't really need to get married if you're not having kids. That doesn't mean that you can't be in a committed monogamous relationship; but until you are older and sure that you both don't want kids, why get married?

By and large women are instinctively far more interested in children then men are. There are those men out there that really look forward to being a father but I think that most men see kids as part of a realistic life if they want a woman to love and marry them. Women tend to feel the ticking of their biological clocks whereas a man's sperm can get the job done pretty much his whole life. The only problem that you face is that a lot of men who do not want kids wake up during their midlife crisis and think about their family name stopping or of having no heir to pass things on to. Good Luck in your search, it should not be to much of an added challenge.

It's up to every individual how he/she prefers the number or size of the family you want in your life. This choice of how big or small family you want, must be both agree by both spouse, the husband and the wife, Some women likes 2 or 3 the maximum, some want only one. Some women adopt and learned lesson from their own respective family experiences. Guys who are serious considering more number of family are extroverts in natures, who like happy family, as he thought, do more merrier than introvert always thinking of work a more important of them all than raising many children in the family.

Females want to have children more than guys. The woman have a more motherly instinct then men. Men are like other mammals and would rather be away from the young. In fact will kill the young to get the female to come back into estress.
I suggest if you never want children that you have your tubes tied to prevent pregnancy. Good luck

Historically, women tend to want kids more than guys; now, that trend is taking a u-turn, because a lot of ladies are obsessed with the media's notion of maintaining their figures. Every guy has a period of wanting to spread his genes, usually mid thirties or early forties, and if he doesn't have that crave chances are he's impotent.
In general, women want kids more than guys do, but that could change real soon.

i don't think you can generalize. some guys want kids and some don't.. and some may change their mind after going through various stages in life..
i always wanted kids.. i always thought i would be the guy that got married young, had many kids.. but this never happened.. and the older i get, the more i figure i won't ever have kids.. it just seems too impractical to have kids.. life is so busy..

Well, according to the popular media, it seems that females usually are the ones who want to have kids. You see it a lot: Maury and stuff featuring teens who are baby-crazy. However, guys not wanting babies does not necessarily mean they don't want one AT ALL. If they don't run or abandon you, they'll usually accept and love the baby just like any good dad should. So here's the skinny:
-females usually are the ones who want babies..because, well, they can do it..guys can't..
-the majority of guys don't want a kid, but they'll accept the fact if they have one.

I think a lot of females have the urge to breed, but in the case of males, it's more a matter of pride and carrying on the family name. It is really difficult to find people who are like minded, most men want children. Let's face it, they have it easy, all they have to do is a few minutes of "work", but the woman has 9 months of hell, not to mention the horrors of childbirth.

This is a totally individual choice, by either sex. It is a human choice rather than having to do with gender.
With me it would be more a matter, that if I am totally nuts about a woman, I would want her to have my children, but it would be for HER sake more than that of the children.
