here is your best answer ........

with 4 kids I've had this happen many times :)

put some oral jel or some other teething gel around the loose tooth/gum area .. and she won't feel a thing - it numbs it right up for her. Tell her to pull it out and the tooth fairy will give her extra money :)

First of all, it does hurt! Depending on how loose, is actually loose. We're not there to see so....

What we do in office is for cases where they are loose, we'll tie a piece of floss around it, make sure its anchored around the base of the tooth under the gum. It sounds complicated but its not. Once its there, gentle pull off to the side. It should pop out easily.

Now, if she's too sensitive and it hurts alot... go to Walmart, buy some oral-gel. It should have 'benzocaine'.. its a numbing gel for the gums. * It's the exact same thing we have in office, to numb patients gums before giving shots* Anyways, place a little bit of that, around all surfaces of her tooth/gums. Wait a minute, and then try the floss around the tooth and pull. She shouldnt feel the pressure nor pain, as bad this way!

Hope this helps...

My daughter would never let me pull her tooth even when it was dangling by a thread so to speak. What I had her do was either play/wiggle it herself until it came loose or I would have her eat something that would basically help it come out. Once she bit in to a bagel, another time she bit a jelly bean, etc., and each time the tooth came out on it's own with no fuss, screaming, crying, etc.

Good luck!

Have her bite into a apple. Or tie a string around the tooth and give it a hard hank. Or I am sure the tooth will gradually fall out by itself.Dont worry, good luck!

Don't you remember when your own baby teeth fell out? You have three choices: leave it fall out on its own, tell her to pull it out, or pull it out yourself (only if she's ok with it). Or just serve stake for dinner (or anything else that's fairly chewy - I lost a tooth in a hotdog once).

I always let my teeth fall out on my own when I was little, and nothing bad ever happened from it. Then again, at some I also started demanding my parents give me a quarter without making me give up the tooth :)

Try gently wiggling it, be careful you don't want her to swallow it. If it doesn't feel as id it is loosening up better to take her to a dentist! You didn't say how old she was if she is a older, mature child you could have her gently eat a piece of bread. Good Luck!

I know this on gonna a little bizarre to you, but when I was a kid and found myself in that condition, my dad would tie a string around the tooth and just yank it out. But then, that was a long time ago.

Just have her keep working at it with her fingers. She'll stop if it hurts, so you won't risk a cut on the gums.

BY FAR THE BEST ANSWERS ARE THE ONES WHERE YOU USE ORAJEL OR AMBESOL (CONTAINING BENZOCAINE) AND AFTER WAITING 1 MINUTE, GRIP THE TOOTH WITH A DRY PAPER TOWEL OR HANDKERCHIEF QUICKLY PULL OUTWARD TOWARDS THE CHEEK.
YOU WILL FIND IT COMES OUT EASILY.
