I'm having some ant issues ever since it's getting cold and rainy. They come in my bedroom from the porch, where my puppy's food and water is located. I want to use an ant killer that is safe for my puppy as well. If I get the spray I'm affraid she'll lick it and if I get those traps she'll probably chew them.
PLZ HELP!
Thank you!

Outside of your house, find out where the ants come into your house and sprinkle a little diesel there. Smells bad a couple of days, but the ants will relocate. I've used this trick with greater success a couple of times, when whole anthills on the move has tried to invade and settle in my home.
The diesel doesn't kill the ants, but they avoid it like the plague, and immediately starts to relocate to an unknown address, and it is not bad to your dog :-)

.Ants: Instead of buying ant killer. Purchase a box of saltine crackers. Crumble the cracker and sprinkle over the ant pile. The salt in the cracker will make the ant explode. Vivian Lerma, TX
With Spring here you are likely to come across those pesky ants. If these creatures are ruining your life, whether it's in the house or outside here is away to rid yourself and your family of these intruders. Grits...yes I said it, good old fashion Grits...Not the instant kind either. Last year my neighbor had huge ant hills in his yard and used my suggestion, after spending many dollars at the local hardware store, and it got rid of hundreds of ants. Sandra Ochodnicky, MI
For ants, sprinkle cinnamon along the doorways, outside window sills, and other openings to the house. It's like an ant- shield! Amanda Wells, OR
For problems with ant piles just pour bleach all over the pile. This will not only kill the ants, but keep them from coming back. Reneta, LA
If you have ants in or outside your home simply fill a spray bottle with alcohol. Treat infected areas in and around your house. Then, sprinkle baby powder over treated area. This will not only kill the ants, but prevent them from coming back. Erika Dejesus, FL

That actuality which you have a dogs variety of limits your techniques in this occasion, as oftentimes i could recommend getting a Cougar. yet another determination is to get an Ant eater, yet they sometimes starve to dying after ant difficulty is under administration.

you could save tobacco from unsmoked portioned parts of your cig
s if you smoke or if you dont you can use, old coffee grounds or even tea grounds as this will kill them also and not hurt your puppy
same holds true for your yard in summer lots to save 4 yard though not worth the time on that one, use tobacco shavings from floor of cigar plant , ask supervisor for shhavings thats what we did in fla
good luck, hope you get rid the lil pest,,,,,,,,Carol,,,,,,
