First of all I am white but i dont care if people i know are black, blue, or green it is their personalities that i "get along with" or dont get along with.
Second it is because the first african americans in america were slaves and the master/slave mentality is sadly passed from parents to children, and is hard to change. This is horrible.

I guess it all depends on where one lives. In my part of the midwest (USA), most of the problem seems to be with whites vs. Illegal Mexicans! I work with, live next door to and get along well with Blacks and Whites and most Mexicans (Remember, I'm a Sasquatch). However, it sometimes seems that the illegals want everything for free ... on their terms!
It's gonna take some time but with any luck, Canada, the USA and Mexico will become one and unite with all man(woman)kind!
Imagine the power of the free world uniting!!!
Okay, a little off track here! Why can't we all get along???
Blacks and Whites have come a long way in the last 50 years or so! Perhaps the same will happen with the rest of our brothers and sisters.

Black and white people get along everyday. Maybe you should ask why the white trash and ******* cant get along.
Donot be in a hurry to lump everyone into a single stereotype. WE are all just as different as night and day.
It is a shame that I can type out white trash, but not *******. That is a violation of my civil rights. This term explains the racial extremeist, not a jab at anyone person. Maybe I should have typed "crackers" instead of white trash. Or maybe it is okay to berrate white people and no one else.

First of all, it isn't all whites or all blacks that don't get along. There are some individuals in both groups that don't want to get along with anyone, because their "programming" is flawed.
Second, it isn't just whites and blacks that don't get along. I've known some short people that don't like tall people, some red-headed people that don't like black haired people, women that hate men, men who hate women, dog lovers that can't stand cat lovers, people that love ballet who don't like people who watch NASCAR, and the list just goes on and on.
The flaw in the programming is someone thinking they deserve something just because they're here, thinking they are better by birth, relieving them of the responsibility to add value to themselves and the world around them.
The world doesn't owe anyone anything. More than that, the world gives less to people that think it does than to those who are grateful for everything that has been given since they first arrived here upside-down and naked.

Why some white people don't get along among themselves? Why some black people don't get along among themselves?
What kind of people are you talking about? I am white and never had problems with any blacks, Hispanic or white people at work. I am fluent in Spanish and Russian. My best friend in the city where I live is black. So, it all depends.

Black and white people do not get along because of racism. The white felt that the blacks were good as slaves. On the other hand, when blacks got rich, they have a feeling of vindication and they discriminate the whites.

It's a cultural difference. Different cultures are brought up to believe different things. Then closed minded people differ in their opinions about something and fight about it instead of respecting others'.
That's were racism comes along. Parents telling their children BS about the other races and the children are either too young or too stupid to make up their own opinions. Sometimes it's just so ingrained into our heads that after generations it's difficult to think otherwise. It's shameful.

I'm sorry you don't like white people. But I seem to get along with my Liberian wife and her family. Maybe some people just can't deal with life. By the way black people have a harder time than the white with our relationship.

I don't agree, I think lots of black and white people get along just fine. But there are racists in every race.

They are just so different in every respect. They are completely opposite in every part of life at least most of the time. There are some exceptions, for example eating. They both have the same bad habits about eating. Both eat too much and the same things.
