Does one have to get boutonnieres and corsages for a Navy Ball? Are they expected, tolerated, or a big no-no?

I have never once seen either of them on the civilians who attend. They would not be authorized for uniformed personnell.

I was in the NAvy for four years and a couple people would get them and most didnt i say dont bring them and have fun

Nothing for the people in uniform. Now if your date wants to get you something then so be it
