I take showers everyday and I eat very healthy. I feel that I have an unusual and rare problem. Sometimes after a half an hour or so I think my body gives off this foul odor that people around me notice. They say it smells like chicken. I smell it to. If it is me, I have no idea what to do. I just want to curl up and die from the embarrassement. Do certain foods, or eating a combination of certain foods cause your body to give off a bad odor? (

(The Story) I was with two of my relatives and after half an hour there was this smell. My first relative said that it smelled like chicken and the other said that it smelled like a wire that was about to burn. How can they both smell something completely different? Is it me? Heeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllpppppppppp!!!! My mother said it smelled like wire too.

O.K. Blue: This is not strange or rare, uncommon. Your right about foods. You do give off an odor from what you eat. It's an answer about your body metabolizing the foods we eat. Another answer is the way we sweat and the odor from the sweat. We all sweat, no matter what. The sweat carries off the odors in the body, simply, without a lot of explaining. Now?

See your doctor. He can advise you, he can send you (referral) to an allergist who can than explain to you much better about your odors and what to do about them.

I worked with a man that was single, he had such an odor to him, it was reeking. There was nothing he could do about it. I felt sorry for him, he was being medicated for the odor but?

ok it is most likely a reaction to the sents in the soap, shampoo or other smelly products you may be using right after a bath. Try just bathing with nothing but Johnson and Johnson baby, don't put anything thing else on. See if you still have the smell. You may need to try other soaps til you find one that doesn't react to your body. I can't use some parfumes or I smell real bad and it makes me sick. Some shampoos can make my scalp break out.

That's really strange, and as embarrassing as it is, you may want to go to your doctor and ask them.
