I got together with a guy I've been talking to online and on the phone for a few months. He came over to my apartment today and we spent the whole day together and had a blast. But the conversation got serious when I was forced to reveal that my family doesn't have any money. He kept telling me not to worry about it, that the way he feels about me hasn't changed. I think I fell in love with him today and I'll be heartbroken if he dumps me. Maybe he thought I'd be his sugar daddy, or maybe he's telling the truth and this will blow over. Any suggestions?

all you can do is wait and give it a chanse
dont fall completely head over heals for him though
prepare for the worst but continue staying with him
oh and if i was you i wouldnt giv ehim sex or anything like it for awhile
if thats what he wants,(and thats what most jerks want) he will leave when you say no if he doesnt love you
make him wait for sex, if he stays around without much pressure hes a keeper

Don't worry so much. I came from a very poor family and my husband was comfortable. It never came up but he had to of realized when he met my parents and he still asked me to marry him. Some people don't care about money or material things. They just love you for who you are. If you found him you should defiantly keep him.

Wait and see. This is where you have to wait. You were being up front to him. If he doesn't call you back, then he is shallow.
