SERIOUS ADVISE NEEDED! Im Blonde and want to go dark....i have pics of me inside, would i look good?

so hope these pictures help i dont want to make the wrong decision and not liking it. it is very hard to go from dark to blonde. please help out

The pics really helped! It would look quite flattering if you went a light shade of brunette with carmel highlights. I would ask the beautician to leave very small strands of your blond around your face to help frame it some and make your almond eyes pop even more! A change is nice once in a while, but you also look nice with the blond tresses. Happy coloring!

I think you would look good with the dark hair--perhaps not quite as dark as the picture, though, because even though your eyes are brown, you skin looks very fair. You also look nice as a blond, but I understand how hard that is to maintain.

One thing to worry about would be the result that you get if you try to dye it dark yourself. That is because when you bleach hair up to blond, you take all of the red pigment out of it and also the hair gets very porous. So, you need to use a color filler to even the porosity and put back some of the pigment that has been bleached out. This is before you even attempt to put dark tint on it. So, for a good result, it means you should have a professional do the tint back. (See the reference below). If you fail to do this, the color may take too dark in parts and not enough in others and it can have a funny cast to it (sometimes even a greenish ashy cast).

You could do low lights first or go darker gradually. Redken Shades EQ has some great colors. It would probably be better to use a demi permanent color. Demi permanent deposits color only,it does not lighten and deposit at the same time like regular permanent color. Demi permanent is much healthier for your hair also. Anyways, yeah,you could diffenately go darker,I wouldn't go real dark at first,you don't want to freak your self out and hate it. Oh, check out Robert Craig hair color,he has some nice colors also. i think you would be able to pull off dark hair. but get rid of the tight curls. the shirley temple look was gone in the 50's. And don't take this to be mean, but don't ever do that thing with your lips again. It's not an attractive look for you. Makes you look like your trying too hard. You look decent on the other pictures where your just smiling naturally.

well dont go dark completely try the temporary spray tan. It should accentuate your features while making you look slimmer not that you need it and all but anyways.. if you do go dark and want to keep the blonde try brown highlights with your natural blonde hair colour...
if you do make the complete change dont get black hair instantly make a graduall change from dark browns eventually going to black. I'd advise going to a professional salon instead of having blotchy orange palms.

You look great as a blonde, though dark hair would look good on you too. It's really your decision. If you sense you'll miss your original hair color, then stick with it. If you want to try out that new look, then go with it and enjoy that "adventure." I hope this helps. Haha.

Let me tell you something about real men. They don't like color in womens hair. Women color their hair because it's a change, when a real man looks at it and say "ugh, she colors her hair" to himself. It's the first sign that she's fake and doesn't like herself. A person can tell right off that a chick colors because of the tone of skin and the way the hair flows with the rest of the body. Your hair is light and thusly it is thinner than someone with dark hair....because of this your hair will become listless faster and not respond to the sun in the manner which it needs to. Remember, after a while you won't like it and you'll let it grow out anyhow. You're a beautiful chick with some confusion...it's in your eyes. U are really pretty, and according to ur pics it seems like u couldve been already dark before (is this true?!) I would say that u should go gradual-u look like maybe u could go Auburn or medium brown with auburn hightlights (what do u think?)

I think you would look good. If you want you can try a lighter brown then go darker. But yeah, you would look good with brown. Anyone can pull off brown, select people can be blonde.
