Why do some guys actually get mad when a girl who isn't there type is interrested in them?

I dont think its a matter of getting mad at the girl in question. I reckon its the fact that these guys continuously aim to get attention from girls with higher 'class' as it were. So when someone who is not as high up to their expected standard starts paying attention to them, they feel let down.

Because they have a severe psychological problem hanlding rejection. Maybe they were brought up as a spoiled brat, and have always had everything they wanted handed to them without question, so when a situation comes up where they don't get what they want, they cannot act properly and accept the answer, so just lash out.
It's totally immature. If it happens to you again, just tell them to get over it and grow up. Better to leave them to their tantrum, then to be in a relationship with that kind of guy

because girls might be pretty annoying in a way they show that they are interested - but what is more important - guy's mates!!! oh - they are normally the second and last nail in a coffin - they can turn everything in to a nightmare and the guy starts to hate girl and she has no chance, zero!!! to pick that guy up- even if he could be interested at the beginning.
but don't worry - girls can be cruel too.
that's life!

Becouse (I think) a girl should NEVER make the first step. If you made the first step towards them it would make them fall out of the male-rule (I am strong ,I am brave, I got the girl) and there is nothing worst that a girl who makes herself embarassed.

Depends whats wrong with the girl. If she aint good looking enough, maybe they are just disappointed coz they thought they could do better!
If not then I really don't know. Maybe he is gay.
