1. You can go to jail for it.
2. It goes on your criminal record.
3. You will not be welcomed into the store you stole from again. Perhaps banned from them all.
4. When you steal you take the profits away from the people who manufactured the item/product and that is simply not fair to take what is someone else's.
5. It changed the way others see you if they know you have stolen. People generally think theives are the scum of the Earth.

1- Peace of mind that you didn't do something illegal.
2- So you don't go to jail.
3- So you don't get a bad reputation and start getting addicted to a bad high (meaning liking the adventure that is stealing) that could ultimately land you in deep trouble.
4- So it doesn't go on your permanent record and ruin your chances of getting good jobs in the future.
5- So that the owner of the possession isn't taken advantage of.
**- so you don't have karma come back around and kick you in the ***.

If you feel the need to steal understand this as the person being stolen from: If they need it more than you, let them have it, its not worth the effort of anger, grief, sadness or sorrow. Yet they will have to live with guilt and bad luck.

If you are a person with a self respect and you dont need to ask any reasons why not to do stealing, just think about what will happen to any person who is stealing. what happen to them after that, be afraid from God.
