Would you tell someone you were in love with them, even if you knew they wouldn't return your love? And how would you go about telling them without ruining a friendship?

You could ruin or burden your friendship...Hang with it to find out many good love affairs come from friendships...but few friendships come from love affairs....You have time.

I know the feelings probably aren't mutual, but i think you're amazing, and i love you. I don't expect anything to change, just know that - - (basically what you said)
Guys actually really like honesty, don't play games because they'd rather hear the truth from the horse's mouth, not anyone else.
Don't be scared, or beat around the bush. You are a very brave person, and have no reason to feel anything but happy about this decision

i understand. im goin throgh sort of the same thing. only my friend said that a gut asked about me and im wonderin weather i should do somthing or not. i think i am going to do somthing. but i think you should tell him if he wont freak out. if you even think hell freak a little dont tell him. but say somthing like 'hey i had a dream last night that we were dating and it was so sweet' then wait for a reaction, if its good then youve put the idea in his head and all sytems are a go!!! BUT!! if the reaction is bad BACK OFF AND FORGET ABOUT IT!!!

I personally wouldn't tell him. What would be the point if I knew that he wouldn't love me back.

I've been in love with this guy for the past two years. but I know if i told him, it would freak him out and he would never talk to me again. that's all i can say. good luck!

i would try to be friends with her, if i feel she likes me i'll tell her but other than that i'll keep the silance
