Sounds like you broke the camera!,, If you take it to the store they will not replace nor fix it bacause the lens only gets stuck if you drop it or abuse it, even if you did buy a warranty most of the time it does not cover problems caused by the person.. Even if you do send it back to the factory it will cost you more to fix it than the actual camera cost you. SO the only thing left to do is buy another camera, and don;t play around with it, always tie the hand strap to your hand to avoid more ohh ohh drops..

one more thinggg...
NEVER TRY TO FIX A CAMERA YOUR SELF YOU WILL DO MORE DAMAGE TO IT.. SO AS OTHERS SAID TAKE IT TO THE STORE, THEY WILL TELL YOU THEY CANOT AND WILL NOT FIX IT AND AND YOULL JUST HAVE TO BUY ANOTHER ONE!!

The place you bought it from will not take it back. Anytime the lens motor is stuck like that its normally from dropping the camera or some form of abuse. Take it to a camera store and let them take a look at it, a repair job might cost more than the camera. In the future as, never let your friends borrow your camera, they don't respect your property as you would.
