watever you do..dont use veet! im the same as you and i thought it was because of the razor blade and veet makes me itch just like nair. i just let my leg hairs grow a lil bit and then i use shaving cream and then after i shave i put on some coco butter lotion..it minimizes the rash a bit so does vaseline.

As a man with a full beard I probably shouldn't answer this but Most of my life I have shaved and men can't use nair so I can relate believe it or not.

Try using the electric then apply something like noxema before shaving again with a very sharp razor. If you are going to use disposables use one or two for each leg. The hairs on a girls legs are murder on blades that is why if you use your boyfriends razor and then he tries to shave he will cut himself to ribbons.

I have this problem myself I have completely gave up on the razor and went to electric. I have tried several different types of shaving creams and lotions. I even tried a home remedy given to me by my aunt that she used hair condtioner. that didnt work either. I to also have dark leg hair. but i got to the point that i was tired of the pain and itching after a razor shave. I can tell you that the womens electric razors are not as good as the mens. Mens electric do a better job. I can shave one day skip a day the shave again it is fairly smooth not as smooth as a waxing but its ok with me.

lay hot towel on your legs before shaving for maybe 5-10 minutes depends on hair type if thick longer then try to shave dont use old razor's or razor's behind other people you can buy some of that mens shaving cream & try it on your legs use the kind that you have to mix called''MAGIC'' what ever you do even when you can afford laser DONT DO IT laser only lasts for so long then the hairs come in 50xs thicker if you live in california there is a school in the city of long beach called A.I.american institute & there they have students who can do work on your legs for $10.00 an hour they perform hair removal but its not laser they insrt very small needles that dont hurt & go under the skin & burn the hairs it doesnt hurt not one bit they dont num you or anything but you hvae to get more than one session for it to work i go there to get chin hairs removed & i'll tell you beyonce better move over the QUEEN of hairless is on the way lol
gl the people who perfomes this type of work are called lisence electrologist........

It might be that shaving is not good for you. Try using hair removing cream, but as it is that your skin might be too sensitive to have to perform allergy test first in a small portion of your skin. It might be that you are also allergic to the shaving cream you are using. I dont think soaking your legs for 30 minutes helps because it will only make your skin more supple, meaning shaving it will cause more skin break-outs. You just have to rinse them with warm water. I think the first step is for you to have a healthy skin - eat lost of fruits and vegetables, drink lots of water, eat foods rich in vitamin e (like spinach).

Maybe you get rashes because of the blade but I think it is mostly
because of the shaving cream. Maybe there is a ingredient that your allergic too? If thats not the case, maybe your getting rashes from something else like pills or something? If not, I do think it is an ingredient. :)
