"Imagination at work" and "We bring good things to life" - both coined by General Electric
Here are some slogans that could help get your creative juices started. Your slogan will depend a great deal on the "things" you are trying to make better.
"Got milk?" (1993, California Milk Processor Board)
"Don't leave home without it!" American Express
"Just do it!) Nike
Where's the beef?" (1984, Wendy's)
"You're in good hands with Allstate" (1956, Allstate Insurance)
"Think different" (1998, Apple Computer, AAPL)
"We try harder" (1962, Avis)
"Tastes great, less filling" (1974, Miller Light)
"Melts in your mouth, not in your hands" (1954, M&M Candies)
"Takes a licking and keeps on ticking" (1956, Timex)
"Share a moment, share a life" from Kodak
A good tagline is not just a motto or a proverb or a saying or a long-winded mission statement. It's got to be fairly succinct -- usually seven or fewer words.
A tagline that calls attention to itself unnecessarily, like "Look at me, I'm a clever tagline!" isn't good. Being clever for clever's sake will get you into trouble with a tagline.
Here's a suggestion from me if your product is shoes, for instance:
XYZ shoes and happy feet go together

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.
