What on earth is a baked ziti, this doesnt sound good. Im having awful images of some strange animal roasting in the oven and a frito pie just sounds alien. I came across these odd foods while answering a question for someone wanting to know what dish to take to her sons school party. Thank you to all who answer.

baked ziti is basically ziti (the pasta, looks like a macaroni only longer and not in a moon shape), with tomatoe sauce and melted mozz. cheese on top. it is really good.. as for frito pie, it sounds like a mexican dish, like a pie of a taco with crushed frito lays chips on top.. hope this helps
