Definitely South Korea rules over architecture and coolness... the babes, I wouldn't kno cuz I'm a girl. I think the boys are hotter tho! 5000 years of culture and tradition rules over borrowed culture.

Japan had no "History" of its own, it borrowed from the Chinese and the Koreans, ancient designs for cities and politics. Japan then closed its borders and became a closed society until the Americans arrived at the end of the 19th century.

i'm an american and i have lived in both Japan and korea for over a year in each country.
i would have to say Japan Wins in EVERYTHING!!! except Price, Japan is really expensive compared to Korea.
But Japan has better Night life, food, culture/sightseeing, and the people are MUCH MUCH more polite!!!!!!
