Why do pregnant women think other ppl want to see their bellies hanging out of their clothes?

I just got back from the mall where I was totally grossed out by this stuff not once but several times.

Wisdom, Hey, I know what you mean. It really does not look proper for the pregnant women to let their stomach hang out.

But now you know that this is going to start possibly an uproar from these young women.

I think it has to do with a lack of decency among the young.

An answer, and a question.

The answer-- The idea that pregnancy is "gross" probably never even occured to some women-- they seem to actually think that pregnancy is a normal, human state, and not something to be deeply ashamed of (go figure); others believe it is actually attractive, and probably for some others, it isn't so much that they "think other ppl want to see their bellies hanging out of their clothes?"-- it's just that they just don't care what you, as a total stranger, think about how they dress.

And now the question: Why did you ask this as a "Religion and Spirituality" question? Had you considered "Beauty and Style", perhaps, or "Pregnancy and Parenting"?

Just curious.

In the 60s long hair on men was just oh so disgusting,

In the 70s those bell bottoms were so wrong

I cut my hair and started being normal in the 80s when we finally had a President we could be proud of,

But the tatoos and piercings today have got to get some people bugged.

And you whine about bellies?

Hey, the bellies are only temporary. I pity the people who will be left with wrinkled faded non-descript tatoos on sagging arm skin and across stretch marks and age spots.

pregnant women are growing a life in that belly and they are always beautiful. I guess the modern dress is let it all hang out or the fact that pregnant women have a really limited style of clothing so when the belly hangs out of regular clothes just know that they have to put up with bigger sizes and not feeling attractive.

I think some Hollywood movie star started this and i saw a lady in the mall the other day and she had a top on 3 sizes to small. If there was nothing any bigger you would realize it and not think much about it but,i think they make themselves look cheap. It is repulsive.

The bellies are definitely too much information. What bothers me more is seeing these women and men wearing low cut pants with rolls of fat hanging out over the back and front....yeeech.

Why do Christians think everyone wants to be saved and hear about Jesus? Why do guys have twisted view of girls? Why do girls have twisted views of guys? Why do the the skills of cooking, sewing, cleaning and child rearing no longer count as good qualities? Why do I assume that everyone wants to know my opinion?

Last one is because they ask in public forums so I tell 'em because they ask for it. Literally, most of the time.

i don't know but theres alady i know like that, shes always holding her belly like the babies about to fall out right there! this is her first child , she's like 5 months. she drives me insane. I for one do not want to see her holding her belly all the time. none of the time.

there is a reason they made maternity clothes. if you take note the majority of the women showing off their bellies are younger mothers
