Since humans eat them,I feel that this is important.

Cholesterol is made in the liver. Cows have livers, too. So do pigs, chickens, turkeys, and fish. All their lives they have been making cholesterol and packing it into their muscles and other organs just as humans do. If you were to eat any part of an animal or an animal product such as milk or eggs, some of the animal's cholesterol would make its way into your bloodstream. Plants do not have livers, so grains, vegetables, fruits and all other plant foods never have any cholesterol at all.

Birds are NOT classified as reptiles. Scientists believe they are RELATED to reptiles.

And yes, they have cholesterol. Any meat that you eat contains cholesterol, some simply less than others.

Birds are not reptiles ...Hookbilled Parrots ( any bird with a hooked shaped beak ) is called a Psittacine. Birds with straight beaks such as Canaries are called Passerines.Turkeys and Chickens are considered Fowl.

No bird is considered a reptile. Reptiles do not produce their own body heat and have skin and/ or scales. They are considered cold blooded.

Birds are warm blooded and produce their own body heat.

Birds aren't classified as reptiles... they don't have scales or anything they shed off...

And cholesterol... any type of animal can get cholesterol...
