Couldnt tell you specifically, but side curtain airbags are vital these days. I have been T-boned twice, the first time at 10 mph the second time at 70 mph. The time at 10 mph I was not in a vehicle with side curtian airbags, and got back injuries...and the second time (the much more serious impact), I walked away without a scratch. (By the way, the car was a Chrysler minivan, the second time was an 06 Toyota Corolla).
