What there is to know about HDTV's.?

Im about to buy an HDTV sometime soon and I wanted to know everything there is to know about them, like is it true that after a couple of years they start losing color and stuff like that also, do I need to buy other stuff for it to watch HD movies (im getting a PS3 soon so I dont need to buy a player). WOW there is tons to learn. i sell them and i still tearn more everyday. yes i'm with you there on the ps3. recomend an lcd with 1920 x 1080p resolution this will take full advantage of HD. anything less your getting cheated. also plasma will get burn in with games.
