My dog has been coming home from the alley and having long all night conversations with my 5 year old. I love my dog and my child but I am a little jealous because the dog never talks to me but always confides in my daughter with all of his concerns. I even over heard my dog one night on the phone joking that when my daughter gets older he wants to marry her. Is there anything I can do about this situation? Would I be wrong for getting rid of the dog??

Seek help Dr. Doolittle. Besides the fact that dogs don't talk, why would you be jealous of the time your daughter spends with the family pet? And if you are using dog as a substitute for a man get rid of him.
