We have the greatest time together, he makes me laugh constantly, but i don't know how he feels about me. I want to make the first move so bad, however--i just got out of a 5 year relationship (and he has helped me through every step of the way). I really have a crush on this guy and i don't even know how to tell him.

It all depends on if you want the relationship or the friendship better. If you want to be his girlfriend and that is more important than just friends then go for it, cause if you don't you will always wonder what could have happened. But if your friendship means more, making a move on him may change things and make it awkward between you guys.

All you can do is tell him and see what happens. You know him very well. Explain to him that him always being there for you and being nice to you has helped to fuel your attraction for him. Tell him that if he doesn't feel the same way about you that it's alright since because of him you now know what you want out of man. This method will compliment him and let him know at the same time that it's okay if he doesn't feel the same way.

Telling him might make things awkward if he doesn't feel it too... but if he does, then it makes things MORE awkward by having these feelings continue to go unacknowledged. There is a chance you'll lose a friendship, but there is a chance for a great love, if you don't take the chance you will always wonder what might have been.

This is the same thing that happened to my best friend! Well she told him exactly how she felt and come to find out he felt the same way about her! But,after 3 months he broke up with her and told her they were better off as friends and now they are the best friends with benifits! All I can say is tell him how you feel.

If he love you, or have interest in you;he will tell you.Observe him.Ask him what he will think if you are fall in love with him.(he will tell you what are his feelings for you).Good luck.
