This summer I played in a summer soccer league and me and this guy were checking each other out. I kept having him as the ref for 4 games. We looked, but never talked to each other. So then we are now playing regular seaon and he plays in a diferent co-ed divsion than I do, so we don't have games together. The 1st games of the season his team wasn't suppose to be there and he showed up with his team to practice and he was looking for me and had his friend "mistakenly" hit the ball onto my field that was next to mine. I saw him, but he didn't say anything. Then 5 or 6 of our games were on fields right next to each other so we could check each other out from a distance. SO....the seeing each other from a distance approach isn't working. I overheard his name and team....and he has his e-mail address as a contact for his team. So should I e-mail mail him...saying..I keep seeing you and am intererested to get to know you etc etc?? Or does that seem creepy? Seems we are both shy

hey, gr8 question. maybe you could just email him (or talk to him at the field, that would take more nerve but have a greater effect.) say something like,"hey, you're pretty good. how long have you been playing soccer?" i know if someone asked me about something i like to do id definitely talk to them. or ask him if he wants to meet you at the field sometime to kick the ball around.

If you are both shy, then hey, someone has to make the first move! Just go for it, ask him out for coffee or something and see how it goes. Good luck :)

Ya, email him. Ask him how he is going and who you are.
If you can, try to have a "hang out" date where you 2 could talk and learn more about each other.

no not creepy it is rather sweet. you might have something there but you will never know untill do. but i would do it fast before you change your mind.
