met someone on the net after talking by phone, im and webcam, the longest being 15 hours for me. for several months and they want to meet you and drive to be with you. she drove 700 miles to spend five days with me. the greatest time ever. has it happened to you and would you do it?

My best friend did, but even further, the guy is overseas. They met thru a message board and got to know each other over several months, the 'vibe' kept growing and they finally met a year ago last spring. They are together almost 2 years now, we all thought it was nuts at first but they seem to be a really well matched couple. He's considering moving out here sometime in the next year :)
