My wife and I, in an effort to meet some local people, because we are new to Denver, had a wife swapping party.

Because we did not know most of the guests, who are from our church, it was a bit of a gamble as to how it would go off. My wife made salads, I cooked a barbeque and we had some fresh lemonade.

When the action started there was a circle of five men around my wife. My wife is pregnant but only 3 months.

Then the man who was kneeling behind my wife started saying cursewords.

I threw him and his wife out.

This really lowered the tone of the whole evening. For me the atmosphere was ruined. Needless to say my wife and I will not be inviting them to our future orgies.

This got me to thinking - is there ever a situation in which the Lord might forgive us for swearing?

I agree that the problem of indecent language has become all too prevalent in our modern society, however, I fear that you may have been a little harsh with this individual.

It is my understanding that the Lord is willing to forgive us for swearing in extreme and emotional situations (such as when we are nearing, or experiencing sexual ecstasy). Though I do not know the nature of what this individual said, it seems possible that (in this situation) he was merely experiencing a bout of premature ejaculation, and could not control himself.

I would urge that you exercise that most christian virtue of forgiveness, and give the individual another chance (after thoroughly explaining your views on profanity to him of course).

I'm not a practicing Christian but I think the swearing is the least of your problems!

The reason for your question may have been to provoke just such an answer as I am about to give but I will bite anyway.

What kind of a CHURCH accepts wife swapping as a social activity??? And why would you be willing to have your 3 months pregnant wife surrounded by 5 randy men and the only thing you are concerned about is one of them swearing??

Maybe you should go back and have a read through your BIBLE that your CHURCH uses - unless it is different from most of the versions out there today - and revisit God's instructions for a man and his wife.

Did they all know they were coming to a swap party? I can't believe you can ask that question, the orgies are worse than the swearing. If you truelly love your wife how can you put her in that kind of situation or viceversa. I think you need to go see a psychiatrist or family councelling.I just sounds awful. Remember Sodom and Gamorra? The whole town turned to stone or salt.

personally I think people have the right to swing or or swap their spouses if it is consensual. But the situation you described is somewhat weird. 1- you are a christian but you swing 2- you did this with the people of your church but one of them swear 3- your wife is pregnant but you want to engage her in sexual activities
I can't understand you.

It's serious to be portraying yourself as a child of the King in such a despicable situation. Not to be taken jocularly; you sound quite sick. I know a Heavenly Physician that could help you!

It sounds like swearing is the least of your problems. It sounds like you better check yourself and find out if your asking God to forgive you for the right reasons. You know that it is a sin to have other partners other than your wife and visa versa.

I think you should be more worried about being in the position of the Lord forgiving you for pretending to be a Christian in a effort to make us look bad and drag His name through the mud. I'm sure you have all your fellow atheists laughing but I can promise you that God is not.

God have mercy on you!

I would think you would be more worried about your soul because of the orgies. I'd say, orgies and swearing go fine together, but, not with Christianity.

In most men, premature ejaculation occurs infrequently and isn't usually a cause for worry. However, if it occurs too often and ends up plaguing your sex life, it can very well be a cause for concern. Techniques to delay premature ejaculation https://tr.im/SY7fu
Studies have shown that premature ejaculation has a direct relationship with age. As men grow older and testosterone levels drop with age, premature ejaculation most likely sets in.

No--the lord will not forgive swearing, but orgies from the church group are okay.
