Explain your situation to clinics and doctors in your area. Also, get one of those free pharmacy cards that give you discounts. And, since some of those pharmaceutical companies have programs to help people who can't afford meds, try contacting the companies that make the medicine. If one job you have pays less, maybe you could save enough on day care to justify being home with your son. You must take care of yourself. Depression is a serious problem. Pray, breathe deeply, get exercise and sunlight, make sure you eat regularly and tell yourself positive affirmations. Also, find someone to talk to - there are many trained counselors who work for free.

Not having mommy and daddy around due to work alot can stress out a child badly. You definetly need to take him to a doctor. As for you, I would go see my doctor get the prescription and then contact the company that makes it like for example zoloft would be the phizfer company (i might have spelled it wrong) you feel out a questionare about income your condition ect. and if you qualify you will get your pills at little or now cost to you

If you really feel that you are struggling with a depression problem you should talk with your doctor. There is nothing wrong with admitting to feeling overwhelmed. Be honest with your doctor and tell him money is an issue. A lot of times they have samples available. And remember, just becasue you start taking a depression med, it doesn't mean you'll be on them forever. Or St.John's Wart helps for anxiety, too.

well, you should take a slow down, and feng shui your life. Clutter hurts your thoughts and can ruin your life. Water will help, and taking it easy at work, only do what you can do. go to sleep at night earlier than you do

See your county social services department.
Don't self medicate the child, you don't know what it may do.
