Be extremely patient and WAIT FOR HIM. As another poster said, there's not many guys like that left, and, speaking as ONE OF THOSE GUYS, I can tell you it's not because he dosen't love you. It's because he DOES love you but wants to make sure everything is done right. Guys like us aren't in it for sex or status. We're in it for true love. I know it's difficult for many of us bc we're passed over as the "nice guys that's not my type".....only later in life do a lot of women finally realise that we were who they were really looking for all along. This guy is a keeper, don't you dare let him go!

You need to ask yourself what is your rush! What's wrong with taking your time? The reason divorce is so high in this country is because everyone is in a rush. They do not take the time to sit and think about what they like about a person and if they are compatible. Too many people jump into relationships for the simple pleasure of sex. If sex is your goal, then go out and walk the streets. At least you can get paid for it. Or simply go and buy yourself a vibrator. You'll achieve the goal you are looking for and eliminate the risk of disease. Relationships are not all about sex. A relationship is about getting to know someone. It takes more than 3 months to get to know someone. If nothing else, learn something from this guy, he seems to know what he wants and doesn't let anything get in his way. He obviously wants to make sure he getting involved with a potential mate and not ruining what could be an everlasting friendship.

Yeah, I was the same way. hes most likely shy. I know that hes thinking about speeding up but he can never find a good time to do it. So basicaly I think you should start to get things moving. Thats what I would need.
A starting push

Be thankful you are dateing a rare breed. A Gentleman. Sounds like things are going at just the right speed. It also means he respects you.
Pay attention to how he treats his mother. He will probably treat his wife in a similiar manner. You just may have a keeper.

It's still early let him take it slow. He's still trying to get to know you, as you are trying to get to know him.You could also show the initiative on things and not leave it completely up to him. Maybe he's a little shy.

Most relationships work out better if you take it slow. Maybe he is thinking you want to take him slow. Just give him signs.

the fact that he is taking things slow is a great respect for you and I would be appreciative of that. Be patient...things will move forward when the time is right.

Enjoy it. It means he really likes you and wants your relationship to have some depth. My boyfriend was the same way when we first started dating, and our relationship is the healthiest I've ever had. I knew he really respected me and wanted to get to know me and make the foundation of our relationship more than just physical.
