My friends and I have had multiple arguments over what counts as a date. So how do you define going on a date vs. hanging out with a friend? If he goes out to a dinner, movie, concert, he often says he's just hanging out. I'm not sure so I've concluded you can define it by whether or not the guy pays. If the guy pays then it's a date. What does everyone else think? Is this good or what would you say defines a date?

I think it's a date whether you go to the grocery store or not! Say you go to dinner...you may agree prior to splitting the bill...this is called "going dutch". Hanging out is meeting up with them amongst others. Now once you leave the place together and go somewhere else then it would be a date. If they are interested in you and you them...it's a date. And then there's the flowers at work...then you really know that it was a date afterall.......and a good one at that!

I would say if you are going out (or staying in for that matter) for the sake of being with each other it is a date. If you have to ask him "Is this a date?" Even walking the dog together could be considered a date if you both look at it that way

I evaluate it a appropriate social engagement between a unmarried guy and a unmarried woman. a number of the failings I did while i replaced into relationship somebody (final 12 months!) have been walking, seeing the air prepare, going to the action pictures, enjoying tennis, going out for dinner, and cooking at abode for her. additionally you're the two asking questions approximately the different person to make certain in case you have compatibility. And it does not ought to contain intercourse or making out. in spite of the reality that, i think of that should needless to say point out a "effectual" date. I recommend that should be the tip faster or later or you're possibly no longer properly suited. or maybe 2 asexual people ought to hook up and be platonic even though it is uncommon. I recommend what's it that makes you desire to "date" somebody and not in elementary terms be their "pal"???
