People have told me to put my kitten in the bathroom with her food and kitty litter and she will learn to use the kitty litter but as I live in a 1 bedroom flat , my bathroom is really small and I feel cruel putting her in there.
Also since Ive had her (6days) I have let her be free in my flat and sleep in my bed so putting her in the bathroom doesnt seem rite.....

What shall I do?

Watch her carefully and when you catch her squatting get her quickly and place her in the litter box. Do this a couple of times and once she will smell her urine or bm's there she will quickly understand that is the place to go.

I have found that little kittens have a hard time getting in and out of a regular size litter box, so I bought a pie crust tin pan and put litter in it. When you first bring them in your home you should show them the litter tin pan and then I have always picked them up every 30 mins. and placed them in there until they use it..After a couple of days they usually get the hang of it and your kitty is trained. When they get a little bit bigger switch to a regular litter box..Cats don't like dirty litter boxes so be sure to scoop it daily..if you don't keep it clean your liable to step in something! I have never put their food by their litter box cats are finicky and I don't think they would like it anymore than you would if someone wanted you to eat in your bathroom! Have fun with her kittens are so precious!!!!!!!

If she has been using the litter box, then maybe there won't be a problem. If she doesn't make it to the litter box, then you might consider confining her to a room until she learns. Most kittens don't need much training, but it wouldn't hurt to take her to the litter box often. She will eventually get the message.

the easiest way i've found is to put the litter box where the kitten goes the most and gradually move it each day till you get the litter box to where you want the kitten to go,i've done this several times with different kittens, they catch on pretty quickly at what you want them to do. also make sure you praise they kitten for doing it's business where it's suppose to this also helps.
