I met a young lady the other day and we hit it off.
She told me that we could be together if i understood that she doesn't want to be pursued or have a full blown relationship,
(she lives on the coast in North Carolina)in other words we are in a temporary relationship until mid December, with all the luxuries of a couple with no commitment needed.
How many of you would refuse an offer like that? By the way she looks looks like Tatum O'neil.
How many of you can just turn it off and on like a light?

I would if im an adventurer and still wanna be free....I wouldnt if I respect my own feeling and I feel like I wont be able to handle the 'turn off-turn on' thing......obviously, the young lady u just met didn't show any respects to her own feelings and mostly to you!!... "the magic is in the air whenever u are with her",be careful my friend, u seem so fond of her...sometimes, magic and beauty (if u think that she is beautiful) can fool us... trust me..

Well she pretty much made it clear. If you are really hoping for a relationship more than what she stated, then you might want to back out now. Better now so you don't get too attached and hurt later on. But if you can accept her terms, then go for it. But don't expect anything more from her.

I couldn't be in a relationship like that unless I thought it was going to lead into something long term otherwise it would just be a waste of time.

I wouldn't. I just can't be in a relationship without getting emotionally invested. But if basically being Fuc* buddies is cool with the both of you, run with it.

I couldn't do it. I could not turn my emotions on and off like that. I would be afraid that I would get too attached and then get my heart broken. Hey if you can do it though then more power to ya!
