. so there is this boy i like...A LOT! & it's kinda complicated with us you see right now we are both in the 8th grade and back in 6th grade is when i first started to like him we were rlly good friends & on the last day of skool he brought his camera & chased me around for a pic & my friends always said that he liked me because of the way he acted when he was areound me so we e-mailed all summer & in 7th gd some grl found out that i liked him and told him everything..he stopped talking to me until skool let out then he started txting and im ing me agian and we would talk 4 up to 3 hrs @ a time when this yr came around i figured it was going to be the same as it was be4 all this happend but boy was i wrong he won't talk to me i mean occasionally i get a hi or something like that yet we still talk all the time on the comp im friends with all of his friends and he is with mine so whenever we all get together it is rlly akward between us. i catch looking @ me & when i look he turns fast

I would say it sounds like he likes you, but be patient not pushy. It seems that for some reason he gets nervous around you. I would say it is best if you go on with your life, date other boys and see what happens. When you IM him don't seem too eager. It is OK to be there and chat, but don't sit in front of the computer waiting for him either. There is nothing wrong with playing it a little hard to get. Just be your normal self around him, carry on with your life and friends and let him come to you.
Above all don't talk to every one in school about how much you like him. Gossip gets going, it gets back to him and (sometimes the story is changed) scares him off again. Only talk to a few close friends about relationships. The whole school doesn't need to know your business.

Well, you're still young. Don't get yourself hung over him when he is acting like that. Don't let him waste your time and your sanity because he can't be upfront with you about your feelings towards him. So either you ask him what is up or you will not ask him and dig yourself an even deeper hole and be left in the dark until he comes get you. So the key word is COMMUNICATION. Try it, it might get you somewhere (bad or good). If I were you, I would talk to him. I rather know what he is thinking then letting him occupy my mind over something trivial. Sorry if it may seem harsh, but I rather have the truth and learn to live with it and not know anything at all. Life is short. Always remember that.

No he does not like you. The fact that he stopped talking to you after he found out that you liked him right away tells you that he doesn't. He is scared you are going to confess to him or do something "weird" like that. But he likes you as his friend so he talks to you online and even if you do confess online it won't matter as much because it won't be as awkward for him because its not face to face, its through letters. I'm sorry but the only way to talk to him offline is to make it known that you don't like him anymore, and better yet state that you like someone else. That way he is sure that you don't like him and you will be able to be friends again, but unfortunately I doubt you two will get any farther than just friends.

If you like him that much, then tell he how you feel. Cuz if you guys talk,tex,emails,etc. Then It looks like you 2 like each other and one more thing, I bet once you tell him he'll,feel the same way! And if he does turns hes head fast or what ever he likes you just shy.:) And if you do take a chance and ask him out i hope it works out!

I bet he probably really likes you...but is not sure how to handle his feelings.
my sister went thru this, and she finally ended up im'ing him and just saying straight out...I really like you....as more than a friend, and its killing me seeing you everyday not knowing how you feel...so before i do something that may ruin our friendship...i just want to ask you this one time....do you feel the same way about me??

You have to let him know how much you like him..the worst thing he can do is say he doesn't feel the same...and you'll know you can start looking for another little hottie.

I'm in the exact same situation, this guy says hi to me and he turns around to look at me but we hardly ever talk. We used to be such great friends back in the eighth grade too. I don't know what to do. :(

it sounds like to me he only has enough confidence to talk to you when he cant see you face to face so i think you should start talking to him. comeon you both cant be that shy, give it a try and do a little flirting very little in fact for a while anyway.
