what does her religion have to do with her love and dislike of cats!
Do you like every single animal on Earth? that would be highly suprising if you do. Maybe she is allergic to them, it happens you know!

I don't particularly care for poodles or pit bulls but nothing about being a Christian (on any other religion that I am familiar with) doesn't tell me I am bad guy simply for disliking 2 breeds of dog.
Some people hate snakes, spiders, bees....big deal.

My mom hated cats.Her toddler brother grew to become into killed by ability of a cat. the toddler grew to become into snoozing the cat jumped into the toddler mattress.at a similar time as licking the milk from his face, suffocated him. My mom hated cats ,till ultimately sooner or later a cat confirmed up on her porch. in the snow and he or she took it in.She enjoyed that cat for some years. some people have motives. o/ compliment Jesus o/

There is no commandment that tells us we must love all animals and keep them in our house. People do say things that are a little stronger than they actually believe, it's just easier to point the finger at someone that says that they are a Christian.

It's funny, all Christians know that they are imperfect and sinners - exactly the reason we need Jesus. It is those that criticize us who hold us to the perfection standard that we know we never can attain this side of heaven.

Maybe it's because it's because she is such a hardcore Christian she still believes that crap from ancient Egypt that cats were like from the underworld (I don't know the specifics, someone else can fill you in on that).

That's sort of extending the whole "love one another" verse a bit far, don't you think? LOL Perhaps she has a real fear of them, but is embarrassed by it.
