Does it hurt him? It may be some type of cyst, but either way take him to the vet...good luck

it might be cancer... you soudl get him examined by a vet nd get ome tissue samples taken. i had a boxer, rottweiler, golden retriver mix. she got a lump under her skin, on her shoulder blade and it turned out to be cancer...we couldnt save her but gve her medictions to ease the pain till it was that time to let her go....

we rescued her from an orginizatoin and she was only 2 years old when she passed away =(

you should get it checked otu by a vert though, better to be safe than sorry. and please get pet insurace. it will save you alot of money in the long run! this is what we have for our 2 smaller dogs now

A vet could tell you better. It might be a cyst or abcess.

Good luck.
