She's been sexually harassed by many older men, so I think that's what causing her to be this way. ..Old meaning at least over 45...

I understand that one! I have always had old men after me, even as a little girl!!!!!! One man wanted a "kiss" from me as a little girl and stuck his tongue in my mouth! I didn't know why he did it (at that time) as he just walked away as quickly as he did it. I was trying to wipe his germs out with my fingers. I think I was 6. I have always had old men hitting on me. Now, I am older and I do not put up with it. I put them in their place. I ask them what their wives name is. Most of them are married. I say other things too.
I understand how she feels. She needs to report all of them!!!!!! Don't let them get away with it. She has to tell them that is NOT appropriate and to be firm and walk away.

There's no term for it. If I had many old women throughout my life come up and kick me in the shins, then I'd begin to steer clear of all old women because I'd think that they were all going to kick me in the shins and I'd do my best to avoid that.
Just keep your friend talking, make sure she gets it all out of her system. The more she talks about these experiences, the better and lighter she will feel. Hopefully she will be able to move on to a much brighter future and be able to realise that not all old men are dirty old men, but that she was unfortunate in coming across a few of them. I hope these people were reported to the authorities too because if they've done it once, then it's likely they'll do it again and we really don't want them to be damaging anyone else.

I'd call it post traumatic stress, and older men trigger it because of the harassment. I have the same thing.

Gerontophobia is defined as the fear of growing old or a hatred of old people. Not sure about "old men" specifically but that's close.

I don't think there is a term for it. The term is more related to rape truma. She should see a doctor.
